How Alooba Credits Work

Our credit system is designed for flexibility. Credits are used to pay for your usage based on the number of active users, assessments, number of invites, and usage of premium features. Each plan includes a set amount of subscription credits, which expire at the end of each billing period. Should you deplete your initial allotment, additional credits can be purchased, ensuring you only pay for what you use, scaling your usage without having to upgrade your plan.

As data literacy becomes an ever-critical basic skill set required for any role, some Alooba clients choose to assess all candidates for any role for basic data literacy.

Alooba Assess can be used for any seniority, from entry level through to senior leader. Most commonly, Alooba Assess is used for individual contributor roles.

Absolutely, users on the Professional and Enterprise susbscriptions will be able to their own questions via the question bank. This allows you to extend Alooba’s 3000+ questions with your organization-specific questions. You can add Concepts & Knowledge, SQL, Python, Free Response, File Upload, Data Analysis & Video Answer questions. This gives you the opportunity to assess all soft and hard skills in one place.

This really depends on the set of questions in the assessment. When you create an assessment on Alooba, we calculate the Alooba Benchmark score for you, which is our predicted 90th percentile score for that assessment, based on the historical data available. As a rule of thumb, candidates who score above this Alooba Benchmark have scored well.

Each tier is designed to cater to different scales of hiring needs:

Lite: Ideal for small businesses or those with occasional hiring needs. Offers basic access to Alooba's platform and a set number of credits sufficient for - for example - one user, with one Alooba Assess assessment, with 100 candidate invitations per month.

Professional: Tailored for small to medium-sized businesses with regular hiring activities. Includes access to a lot more features and test types, with more credits. The starting credits in the Professional tier will be sufficient - for example - for five users, two concurrent Alooba Assess assessments, with 500 candidate invitations per month.

Enterprise: Best suited for larger organizations with extensive and complex hiring requirements. Provides full feature access including SSO and MFA, and premium support services. Enterprise subscriptions allow you to customize the number of credits included.

Absolutely! You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription tier at any time to align with your hiring needs. Downgrades will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Upgrades will take effect immediately. Just reach out to your account manager to upgrade.

If you use all your allocated subscription credits, you can purchase additional credits to continue using the platform without interruption. Our auto-top up feature can also ensure you never run out of credits by automatically purchasing additional credits when you're running low.

To ensure uninterrupted access to Alooba, we automatically renew monthly subscriptions one week before the end of the current month and annual subscriptions one month before the end of the subscription period. This preemptive renewal approach is designed to give you ample time to address any potential payment issues that might arise, safeguarding your continuous access to our platform.

If you wish to cancel or downgrade your subscription, we require a notice period that matches the renewal lead time: at least one week for monthly subscriptions and one month for annual subscriptions. This notice allows us to process your request without affecting your current billing cycle and ensures that any changes reflect your exact preferences.

Should there be any issue with your payment at the time of renewal, the advanced renewal timing provides a grace period to rectify any payment problems. We'll notify you immediately of any payment failures, giving you sufficient time to update your payment information and maintain uninterrupted access to Alooba. If payment issues are not resolved within this grace period, your account may be temporarily restricted until the payment is successfully processed.

For the Lite and Professional tiers, we offer flexible monthly subscriptions that do not require long-term commitments. You can terminate your monthly subscription at any time, provided you give at least one week's notice before the end of the current month, allowing for seamless management of your recruitment needs without being tied down.

For those interested in annual subscriptions, we offer them at a discounted rate, payable up-front. This option is especially beneficial for organizations seeking to maximize their value over a longer period. Additionally, Enterprise contracts may qualify for additonal discounts for multi-year agreements. These arrangements are designed to support and scale with your business as it grows.

Unused subscription credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over. To maximize the value of your subscription, we encourage planning your recruitment activities to fully utilize your allocated credits. Additional credits purchased or auto-topped up will not expire at the end of billing cycle and are valid for up to a year.
